दिनांक 31 ऑक्टोबर 2020 रोजी धन्वंतरी आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल कॉलेज अँड चॅरिटेबल हॉस्पिटल,उदगीर व सामान्य(शासकीय-उपजिल्हा),उदगीर यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने महर्षी वाल्मिकी ऋषी व माजी गृहमंत्री-उपपंतप्रधान लोहपुरुष स्व.सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल यांची जयंती आणि माजी पंतप्रधान स्व.इंदिरा गांधी यांची पुण्यतिथी साजरी करण्यात आली.कोरोना विषाणू संसर्गाच्या व प्रादुर्भावाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर सामाजिक व वैयक्तिक अंतर राखून या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.
कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी प्राचार्य डॉ.दत्तात्रय पाटील हे होते तर व्यासपीठावर प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून डॉ.दत्तात्रय पवार(वैद्यकीय अधीक्षक,सामान्य-उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय,उदगीर),डाॅ.अजय महिंद्रकर(वैद्यकीय अधिकारी),डाॅ.सौ.उषा काळे(रुग्णालय उपाधीक्षक) व सौ.मानकोळे(नर्सिंग सुपरिंटेंडेंट)हे उपस्थित होते.

Aharavalokanam – आहारावलोकनम’- Online Faculty Development Program
School of Ayurveda D. Y. Patil deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, are organizing ‘Aharavalokanam – आहाराअवलोकनम’– Online Faculty Development Program on Integrative aspects of ‘Ahara’, from 2nd November 2020 to 7th November, 2020. It comprises of more than 30 hours of knowledge packed sessions with 34 expert speakers from the domain of Ayurveda and modern nutrition & dietetics all around the world.
The main objective of this FDP is to promote and impart insightful knowledge of Ayurvedic Diet and its benefits. All aspects of diet prescribed in the texts of Ayurveda as well as modern medicine will be explored through this program. Along with expert discourses, we have included a demonstration of ‘Traditional Food Recipes’ from AYUSH Systems of Medicine issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. These healthy recipes and their related details will be explained by our skilled faculties. The FDP will be concluded with a brainstorming panel discussion regarding prospects and concerns about integration of Ahara principles with modern nutrition & dietetics.
