Charak Jayanti Celebration 2026 & Samhita Chart Competition
The Department of Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant organized a vibrant celebration on the occasion of Charak Jayanti under the presidency of Dr. Mangesh Mundhe. Renowned guest speakers Dr. Rajesh Sawai and Dr. Kiran Bhojraj delivered insightful keynote lectures on “Importance of Charak Samhita in Ayurveda”.
A Samhita Chart-Making Competition was organized for First-Year BAMS students. Faculty members Dr. Shivani Patil, Dr. Ketaki Tar, Dr. Shrutee Lad, and Dr. Vasundhara Mule graced the dais.
12th International Yoga Day Celebration: Lecture on ‘Yoga for Healthy Ageing’
On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, the Department of Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant organized an outreach guest lecture session centered around the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
Keynote talks emphasizing the clinical relevance and significance of yoga in cultivating a healthy lifestyle were delivered by Dr. Prashant Biradar, Dr. Ketaki Tarde, and Dr. Shruti Lad. The program was graced on the dais by Adv. Rajkumar Navandikar Sir, Gaikwad Madam, and the faculty members of Sant Tukaram Law College and Rajiv Gandhi ANM College.
